This dish has several verities like Chicken Karahi, Mutton Karahi (usually made with goat meat), Dumba Karahi (made with lamb meat), Beef Karahi and many more. Today we are going to teach you that, how to cook “White Chicken Karahi”. White Chicken Karahi is very delicious to eat and have very attractive aroma.
Ingredients (Try to get fresh ingredients)
Chicken ————– One Kg (Small Pieces)
Onion ——– 4 (Finely Chopped)
Garlic Paste ———– A Tablespoon
Ginger ———– 50 grams
Green Pepper ————- 6 to 8 Finely Chopped
Grind Black Pepper ————– One Teaspoon
White Cumin ———- One Teaspoon (Fry and Grind)
Grind Hot Spices ———— One Teaspoon
Green Coriander Finely Chopped ————- Little Bit
Fresh Cream ————– One Cup
Salt ————— Half Teaspoon
Cooking Oil ————- One Cup
How to cook
Karahi is not very difficult to cook. Just get the fresh ingredients for more taste.
- Heat the oil in a Karahi Pan.
- Add the chicken and salt, mix well and cook for five minutes and cover the Karahi Pan.
- Now add onion, garlic, black pepper, white cumin and cook for another 15 minutes.
- When the cooking oil separate from chicken, add fresh cream to it and cook for 2 minutes.
- Finally put the ginger and leave for 2 minutes and let it simmer.
- Sprinkle the green coriander leaves and serve with salad and yogurt (Raita) . You can also squeeze the lemon on it while eating.
Note: Don’t use water in this dish.
